A fourth generation coffee planter and a first generation businessman, Purnesh spearheads the operation of Classic Group. The group has diversified interests in the field of coffee, real estate, distribution, hospitality and modern trade. Under his leadership, the group has been associated with the big names of the industry such as Brigade Group, Salarpuria Group, Valmark, Aditya Birla Retail, Fabmall, Big Basket etc. He is also credited for being one of the pioneers of gated community development in Bangalore, with the establishment of Classic Orchards 16 years ago.

David Friedman

Managing Principal, Ella Valley

David brings over 20 years of cross border real estate investment, structuring and asset management experience. He was responsible for investment and exit strategies as the lead investor in, and committee member of a USD 120 million private equity residential development fund with operations in India. Prior to founding Ella Valley Capital, he was associated with Marathon Real Estate and Proskauer.

  • Over 14 years of experience in Stock Broking, Wealth Management and Channel Management
  • Independently handled individual portfolios of HNIs and UHNIS with AUM of 150 Cr+ across asset classes
  • Managed team of over 15 people and achieved revenue growth of 20% y-o-y for her division
